This Thursday, May 9th will see the Niagara Construction Association’s (NCA) fourth annual Niagara Safety Awareness Day. The event takes place at the Grantham Lions Club in St. Catharines from 11AM-2PM. Admission is free.
Attendees can check out over 20 exhibitors covering all areas of safety – products, suppliers, services, expertise, training / certification (WHMIS, GoldSeal, COR) pertaining to the local ICI (industrial, commercial and institutional) construction industry. This year’s event also features an expanded schedule of demonstrations and information overviews including the following: First Aid (ladder fall, fainting/CPR/AED, and anaphylaxis episodes), Working at Heights harness demo & safety, fall protection, rescue demo, reversing alarm technology, dump box warning systems, dropped object safety, cyber safety, wellness/injury prevention, surety, and financial safety.
