I am very proud to host this annual event, which is a testament to your hard work and perseverance. The Quebec steel industry carries a heavy burden of the province’s economy. The Canadian steel construction industry is an important part; a dynamic industry, a real driver of innovation, job creation and economic growth in Quebec. This important event aims to celebrate and reward all team members for the excellence of their work. With Quebec’s know-how and a keen sense of logistical execution, steel is often part of the solution. The sky is the only limit for steel “says Hellen Christodoulou, regional Manager of Quebec during her speech.

Among 93 submissions 38 projects were selected as finalists. The Steel Design Awards were proudly presented to 13 winners in 12 categories.
