It is time to renovate the official residence of the Prime Minister of Canada

Numerous calls from the national press and industry experts are expressing their opinions that now is the time to begin renovating the “unlivable” official residence of our Prime Minister.

The maintenance costs are hundreds of thousands of dollars to taxpayers per year for the empty building. Why not spend the $millions needed now to prepare the residence for occupancy of a future prime minister?

My opinion is that this is a national disgrace and we all know that our government has spent way more money over the past few years on much less important priorities.

I encourage you to read this article in The Globe and Mail to learn more on this issue.
