IAPMO will begin the Call for Comments on these documents on Oct. 9, when all suggested code amendments/additions/deletions published in the ROP will be available for public review. The deadline for submission of comments will be Jan. 13, 2020, at 5 p.m. PST.

The USHGC and USPSHTC are model codes developed by IAPMO to govern the installation and inspection of solar energy, hydronics and geothermal energy systems, as well as swimming pool, spa, and hot tub systems, respectively, as a means of promoting the public’s health, safety, and welfare. The 2021 edition of each code is being developed through a process accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
