Messe Frankfurt India further extends partnership with CREDAI-MCHI for building technology fairs in India

With a continued focus on strengthening its network within India’s real estate fraternity, Messe Frankfurt India has announced yet another strategic partnership with CREDAI-MCHI. The partnership extends the Indian subsidiary’s alliance for its leading building technology fair – ISH India powered by IPA thus providing real estate developers and builders access to need-of-the-hour solutions in plumbing, sanitation, bathroom & kitchen, renewable energy and home automation systems.

While on one hand India prepares for smart city development and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the other side is battling depleting water resources and the increasing challenge of waste disposal with many Indian metropolis topping the list of cities in the world facing severe water and waste issues. Focused on the new-age concept of luxury living, builders today need to re-engineer basic infrastructure solutions and sanitation systems without compromising on luxury amenities.

With an objective of facilitating stronger dialogue between builders and stakeholders of bathroom & kitchen, renewable energy and home automation systems, plumbing and sanitation industries, Messe Frankfurt India has announced that it has further extended its co-operation with the apex body of private real estate developers – CREDAI-MCHI. Under this alliance, procurement meetings with builders and purchase directors will take place during the year to better understand industry requirements and how ISH India powered by IPA could fill the technology and demand gap.

President CREDAI MCHI – Mr Nayan Shah said: “We are already working with Messe Frankfurt India to bridge the gap between Indian developers and manufacturers of reliable high speed elevators and architectural mobility solutions which are a pre-requisite for high-rises today. With ISH India powered by IPA, we can ensure real estate developers can gain access to infrastructure solutions and sanitation systems that align with the “smart cities’ vision.”

At a recent dialogue with real estate fraternity, Chief Secretary of Maharashtra Mr Ajoy Mehta remarked that “environment will be a big challenge for real estate developers going forward with technologies on creating artificial environment, controlled weather systems, water purification and recycling tools that will need to be integrated during building planning phase. Developers need to be agile to the future market demands.” Technology is proving to be a game-changer for real-estate business and CREDAI-MCHI’s aim is to ensure MCHI’s procurement wing is in direct touch with tech-specialists through Messe Frankfurt’s building technology fairs.

Talking about the strategic partnership, Mr Winston Pereira, General Manager, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd shared: “Our aim is to create a pure business-oriented platform showcasing market ready innovations and solutions across the bathroom, plumbing and kitchen segment here in India. Our strategy has always been to ensure ‘quality over quantity’ with the participation and presence of the right stakeholders at all our events and the association with CREDAI-MCHI is a committed step towards this goal.”

Held from 7 – 9 May 2020, ISH India powered by IPA is part of Messe Frankfurt’s global building technologies portfolio which consists of 25 trade fairs in eight countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America, where the regional markets and global industries compete for solutions of the future. With ISH India powered by IPA targeting critical elements of sustainable urbanisation suited to Indian market, both Messe Frankfurt and CREDAI-MCHI feel this tie-up will enable global players to reach urban planners and real estate developers in the country and thus bring forth solutions suited to the Indian market.
