One of British Columbia’s most recognized waste industry associations, the Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA), will bring multiple industries to the room for a discussion to collaborate and uncover solutions to the challenge of construction and demolition waste.
On April 9 from 10 AM to Noon PST, attendees will explore together how we can overcome barriers to reducing this waste in British Columbia and create a more circular system today.
Hannah Teicher, PhD, Researcher in Residence for the built environment at the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, will moderate the discussion with our knowledgeable panel representing the various hands-on perspectives of the building process to uncover the realities and potential actions to make a circular built environment a reality.
Our panel includes:
Cinci Csere & Chris Arkell, owners, Sea to Sky Removal
Brenda Martens, managing director of research and collaboration, Light House
Adam Corneil, owner, unbuilders
Mitch Blokhuizen, operations manager, Ellice Recycle
Michael McCamleym, board of directors, New West Gypsum Recycling
Dom Costantini, president, operations, Bird Construction

This unique event continues CWMA’s 25-year tradition of providing forums to assist our members and greater solid waste industry to meet the challenges and opportunities of waste management in British Columbia.
