The Hub will respond to client needs within a comprehensive service delivery model of care. The project is the first of its kind in Ontario, and is expected to drive community-based health care thinking across the Province. Services will include:

• A needs-based ambulatory program
• Diagnostic imaging
• Geriatric support and wellness
• Mental health and wellness
• Active rehabilitation

“The Orleans Health Hub project is a major milestone for the community as it will be highly focused on the needs of the patient population by streamlining a number of community and healthcare services,” said Wayne Ferguson, Sr. Vice-President & Area Manager, Ottawa. “As a leading healthcare builder, EllisDon is proud to work within our local community and build a health hub that will provide an unparalleled level of service to its patients.”

The Orléans Health Hub project involves the construction of a new facility at the corner of Mer-Bleue Road and Brian Coburn Boulevard. The 96,000 square foot facility will bring together numerous specialized and community healthcare services under one roof.

EllisDon will now mobilize on site. At the peak of construction it is expected that up to 200 workers will be on site.
