Chandos Construction announces two leadership appointments as company expands nationally

EDMONTONJune 5, 2018 /CNW/ – National contractor Chandos Construction Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Coldwell, P.Eng as President of Chandos and Sean Penn to the position of Chief Operating Officer; effective immediately.

Tim Coldwell has been with Chandos for nearly 20 years. He started in Chandos’ Edmonton office and has progressed through a variety of positions including Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Project Director, District Manager and Vice President. An avid community supporter, Tim is a board member of the Citadel Theatre and the Edmonton Construction Association. He is a past board member of The Center for Innovation in the Design & Construction Industry (CIDCI) and the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA). He is also an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference.

Sean Penn also has a nearly 20-year career at Chandos. He began his career as a carpenter in Chandos’ Edmonton office before being promoted to Superintendent with oversight of Chandos’ field operations in Ontario. Sean then moved back to Alberta progressing through a variety of positions including Project Manager, Operations Manager, District Manager and Vice President. Sean lends his time and talent to the construction industry as a board member of the Calgary Construction Association. He is also a past board member of the Red Deer Construction Association and the Alberta Construction Association.
