CCA looks forward to working with re-elected PM on issues of national importance to the construction industry

OTTAWA, October 24, 2019 – The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) extends its congratulations to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada for winning a second mandate in the 2019 Canadian federal election on Monday evening. CCA also wishes to extend well wishes to all successful candidates from all five parties across the country after a hard-fought six-week campaign.

CCA looks forward to working with all parties in the 43rd Parliament, emphasizing stable long-term infrastructure funding, renewing investor confidence, recruiting and retaining a diverse and tech-savvy workforce, and advancing innovation and technology.

The issues CCA relayed through the #Construction4CDNs campaign ( remain of top priority to our organization and the 20,000 member firms we represent, employing 1.5 million Canadians. We intend to continue to speak on these matters and elevate them with parliamentarians, new and returning, as we continue to “build a better Canada”.
