Join us on August 22-26, 2022 for the #BBBC22
At Sustainable Buildings Canada (SBC) we believe it’s imperative that we design, build and operate better buildings. Simply put, our survival depends on taking aggressive steps to fight climate change.
One area where we believe we can have significant impact is by inspiring the next generation. Our Better Buildings Boot Camp (BBBC) presents a unique opportunity for graduate and diploma students, from a broad variety of disciplines and institutions. The Boot Camp enables them to collaborate virtually with each other, faculty, staff, and professionals applying the integrated design and delivery process to develop more sustainable buildings.
The BBBC was created with input from sustainable building subject matter experts and faculty from Carleton University, George Brown College, Toronto Metropolitan University, Seneca College, University of Toronto, and York University. The week-long program is free and is held virtually on a platform called Pheedloop so that there are no barriers to students attending. The BBBC is provided at no cost to students and is fully subsidized by SBC and our supporters. Now in its third year, we have had tremendously positive feedback from participants, and have refined the program in response to their feedback.
